January Enrichment Calendar
We’re excited to kick off the year with themed enrichment activities and Birthday/Gotcha Day Celebrations. With weekly themes, we ensure every pup gets a chance to join in the fun, no matter which day they attend daycare!
Fashion Week: Show off your pup’s style! Whether it’s cozy winter gear or a fun accessory, let them strut their stuff in our lobby. We’ll snap photos for a virtual fashion show on social media!
Training Competition: Celebrate National Train Your Dog Month with us! Daycare activities early in the month will focus on practicing skills for a friendly competition during the final week. While all our pups are winners, a few will earn extra bragging rights with our judges’ scorecards!
Birthday Parties: Sonny G’s 1st Birthday Celebration (January 8th): Sonny G is turning 1 and wants to celebrate with all his friends! This exciting milestone marks the launch of our Birthday/Gotcha Day Party Packages at BBH. Each party includes:
– A photoshoot to capture the memories
– Dog-friendly treats for the entire playgroup
– Fun activities like tug-of-war, a group game of chase, or fetch (tailored to the group’s energy level)
– A present birthday lamb toy to take home

Training Program Update
January is National Train Your Dog Month, and we’re thrilled to have Yvonne joining the BBH team as our trainer! Her introductory private training package sold out on the first day—thank you for your enthusiasm!
To meet demand, Yvonne will begin group classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM starting January 22nd. These classes will focus on basic cues and foundational training skills, with space for 5 pups per class. Stay tuned for sign-up details!
Daycare Closures & Limited Availability
Training isn’t just important for your pups—it’s essential for our staff too. To ensure we continue providing top-notch care, we’ll hold operational training sessions covering topics like dog behavior, body language, and CPR recertification.

Limited Availability: Monday, February 3rd
During these days, we’ll also complete maintenance and upgrades to our building, kennel suites, and cleaning equipment to keep everything in tip-top shape.
